James Kovacs has an extensive tax and accounting background and is an Enrolled Agent. Aside from his Tax and Accounting education, James also has degrees in both Corporate Finance and Business Marketing in conjunction with a minor emphasis in International Business. James gained experience as an accountant for a high-end Silicon Valley CPA firm, performing both Tax & Audit functions for closely held companies and high-net-worth individuals. 

James is the President and Chief Exectutive Officer of Tax Force. He works out of our Ohio Valley Office. During tax season, James prepares and reviews business as well as personal tax returns, oversees the accounting staff as well as reviews tax returns.  During the off season, James consults with clients on tax planning and business advising.

Nikki Kovacs graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Corporate Marketing and International Business and is also a Certifed QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor.  She has experience in retail and office management as a District Inventory Control Specialist for a global retail chain and a Director of Marketing/Advertising for a fast food company.

Nikki is the Vice President of Accounting and Chief Financial Officer of Tax Force. She works out of our Ohio Valley Office. In her diverse role with Tax Force, she oversees all bookkeeping and payroll, manages the accounting staff, and heads up our quality control.  Nikki also plays a vital role during tax season preparing a wide variety of tax returns and meeting with prospective clients.

Walter is a tax attorney with extensive experience in Big Four accounting, with an emphasis in the practice of corporate tax, partnership tax, tax-exempt organizations, government entities, and Fortune 500 companies.

He earned his JD in 1989 from the University of Kentucky and holds an LL.M in Taxation from the University of Denver. He has gained a breadth of knowledge working for several firms in tax compliance, consulting, and planning and has worked as a Senior Manager and Associate for over 20 years. He has also worked as a lecturer in business law, economics, accounting, and corporate finance for Saint Xavier High School.

Walter is married with five children. He enjoys coaching & conditioning for the St. X football program and researching & decoding tax law.

Leigh Ann graduated from Mid-Continent University in 2010 with a Bachelors in Business Management and a Focus in Accounting. She has been a tax professional since 2014 and an enrolled agent since 2017. 

Leigh Ann joined Tax Force in 2025. Her goal is to provide quality service to each of her clients and to equip each client with tools they need to be profitable. She works out of the La Grange & St. Matthews offices. She both prepares and reviews tax returns and assists with other tax matters.

Leigh Ann is married with 3 children. She enjoys playing with her dog and cat and loves to hit the gym when she has the time. 

Becca graduated from the University of Louisville with a degree in history. From 2010 to 2023, she worked in quality control and project management for a number of mystery shopping and brand compliance companies. She managed a team with last line of oversight over client deliverables and built or refined processes & projects for luxury food and car brands, large telecoms, and other boutique businesses.

Becca joined Tax Force Inc in 2022 as an accounting admin and became office manager in 2024. She assists with scheduling, bookkeeping, tax preparation, and payroll. 

Erin graduated from Transylvania University and worked in the hospitality industry.  She is married to Jeff Thompson of Musselman Hotels and is the proud mother of 3 beautiful girls; Ashlyn, Kylee, and Emma.  Erin loves spending time with her large extended family as well as coaching and watching her girls play volleyball!  

Erin joined Tax Force in 2021 and works out of our Ohio Valley office as our Staff Accountant. She assists with bookkeeping, payroll, and tax returns.

Karey began her career as a bookkeeping and payroll admin in 2022. She is married with 3 young children. 

Karey joined Tax Force in 2025 and works remotely from Alabama. She assists with payroll and bookkeeping.
